Basketball Leagues Rules
- Description
- 5-on-5 league basketball.
- Registration Deadline
- Monday Jan. 25th 8pm
- Activity Cost
- $89 per team
- Registration Information
- Leagues will be filled on a first come first serve basis so register early. A minimum of four teams are required to implement the league.
Once a time slot is filled it will be closed.
Print off the information sheet, choose the time & league you want to play and come to the RecSports Office to pay. After you have paid for your team, you will be given an website link to go to and complete your registration.
Forms of payment accepted: Check, Credit/Debit Card and Student Charge. NO CASH ACCEPTED!
To accurately plan for all your teams’ needs, choose several slots your team prefers to play. Remember, these times are available on a first come, first serve basis. Once a time is filled, it will be closed. Once all leagues are filled, registration will be closed.
- Manager's Meeting
- Wednesday, Jan. 27th 6-8pm (Check registration website for further details)
- Play Location
- Teams play in the historic Brewer Fieldhouse on courts 7-10.
- League Format
- Competitive Leagues offer a four week regular season followed by a single elimination tournament for eligible teams. The top 3 teams in each league that also have at least a 3.0 sportsmanship rating to be eligible for playoffs. There will be a playoff bracket/manager's meeting that must be attended by at least one person from each playoff eligible team. If you do not have someone in attendance at this meeting, your team will be removed from the playoffs.
Recreational Leagues offer a straight 5 weeks of games with no playoffs.
